If not having enough time has always been your excuse for not getting your cooking on in the kitchen, the national lockdown has swooped in and given you all the time in the world (well, at least until 21 April!) But this isn’t just about making the days go by; it’s a great opportunity to get the family involved and whip up some delicious treats and meals to enjoy together. Not to mention, if you don’t quite know where to start, we have news for you: you are already in the right place. We’ve put together some tasty lockdown meals with Woody’s Bacon! If there was ever a time for comfort food, it would be now! And we can’t think of a better dish that this creamy and delightful mushroom and bacon gnocchi. While Woody’s Bacon will be the main attraction, of course, there is something quite decadent about the garlic and herb cream sauce, too.
Yes, the Woody’s Streaky Bacon is a treat in and of itself, but once you add the hint of sweetness that comes from wrapping it around onion rings, magic happens! Not only will these circles of savoury delights hold up as stand-alone snacks, they make for excellent burger toppings. This is also bound to be a hit with the kiddies, and they can assemble their burgers to their liking.
3. Cream Cheese Bacon and Potato Soup
While you should definitely try this dish out during the lockdown, you should also remember it for when those colder months come rolling in. Cheese, bacon and potato are the holy trinity of comfort foods, so this is really a no-brainer if you are looking for something hearty (and super quick to whip up!)

If you are looking for something on the lighter side (for all you health-conscious peeps), then this is one of those quick-to-make staples you should return to often. 5. Bacon and Pineapple Jalapeno Poppers
Your mouth should already be watering! If it isn’t, just imagine biting into a jalapeno pepper stuffed with pineapple and cream cheese, wrapped in Woody’s Streaky Bacon. There’s heat, there’s tang, there’s smokiness… it’s pretty much the perfect snack, if you ask us!
